That's just what this little chap has been chirruping all day
isn't he cute?
and here comes Mum (or Dad) with a nice juicy caterpillar
Let's hope this one doesn't get pushed out by it's siblings, perching on the edge like this
because look who may be waiting below
(taken through the window so not very good quality)
The video clips are a nice addition too! I don't like their chances with a determined cat around, but you have certainly been creative.
ReplyDeleteHey Georgia, that first pic is just gorgeous, such a sweet little thing.....
ReplyDeleteSpaghetti's just doing what comes naturally. Perhaps a bit more netting around the base of the tractor?

Don't you just love this time of year...I seem to spend most of it worrying about birds of one sort or another.I have three cats who mercifully seem to leave the birds alone, infact there are two blackbirds who will take food from the cat dish while the cat is also eating.I have noticed that the blackbirds only make an alarm call when a strange cat is about and not when my three are out.The biggest killers of baby birds in our garden is squirrels and two years ago I had to drape a nesting box with netting much the same as your tractor is draped to keep the squirrels out.So far this year we're ok.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos - we couldn't get close enough to our bird box to take photographs.
ReplyDeleteSoooo cute!!! I remember them nesting there last year. THat first shot is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. Hope to see you again sometime. You got some great photos of the birds. How many do you think are in there? They can sure be loud at feeding time can't they!
ReplyDeleteOh my. What a hungry bird. My son was like that when he was born. He cried for milk all the time. If you take a video of the cat devouring the bird, I won't watch it. Nightmares for sure.
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are gorgeous - and the video. I've got two naughty cats too :)
ReplyDeleteGeorgia, these photos and videos are gorgeous! Thankyou so much for sharing! :o)
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great weekend, and it's not too wet near you!
Take care my dear.
xx
How adorable are those little birds. Hope the cat doesn't get lucky!
ReplyDeleteHello Georgia, thank you so much for popping by my blog, I'm glad you had a little chuckle.
ReplyDeleteI am very impressed with these shots, such beautiful captures. It's like a little storyboard.
I too hope the pussy cat doesn't get lucky, although it really does remind me of Tom and Jerry......;D
Hope you are having a great bank holiday weekend!
xKarenx
Look out for my next post....it has birds and cats...it'll make you smile! I was also wondering about the Queen's thermal/fan heater situation! I really, really hope she had both! xxxxx
ReplyDeleteOh my! What sweet little birdies.
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on my kitty cat post - I came over to pay a reciprical visit and found pics of Spaghetti. A very handsome cat! My Zuki has some growing to do before she's likely to be a danger to birds.
