I found some photos today of a bag I made a while ago but haven't shown you.
It's made from curtains I used to have in our last house
At first I used an old button for the fastening as in the photo above but thought it wasn't enough, so I changed it for some beads from an old necklace threaded on ribbon which I think suit it to a T
I like the beaded faster too - it's cool!!

ReplyDeleteYou have very nice curtains. In my home we use Ikea curtains and they look very plain. Just all white or all yellow.

Such a pretty bag! That fabric is gorgeous and the beaded enclosure is the perfect finishing touch.

ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely bag anyway but the beads make a huge improvement. They bring out the green in the bag fabric wonderfully.
