Ostrich feather field
This last week we've had a whole variety of weather, from fog, sunshine, rain and frost.
The frost on the long grass in this field makes it look like the horses are standing in ostrich feathers
Here's a few other things with a frosty coating
My walk was slowed down though, because whenever I see a puddle frozen like this
I've just got to break the ice
Of course sometimes I stamp on one that looks like it's going to be hollow but turns out to have muddy water underneath!
Love the frosty pics Georgia........
ReplyDeleteHope the horses had their WInter coats on it looks pretty chilly.
The puddles look like frozen milk.....
Blue skies and sunshine here today and nice and coolish!!

I love the frosty photos, makes everything look magical. Frozen puddles, now there's something I've never come across before.

The hoar frost did make all the hedgerows and trees look wonderful and Christmassy. The sun is actually trying it's best to shine today - no icy puddles to jump into today
ReplyDeleteI love looking at the frost but hate being in it. Gorgeous photos, very seasonal! x
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I love the patterns that frost makes! And I also love stomping on frozen puddles. It is a beautiful day today, very cold and clear. I might have to put my grippers on and take a walk in the frosty sunshine!
ReplyDeleteI love a cold, crisp morning when everything's white and icy. There's nothing I like more than wrapping up and going for a long walk to take it all in. Lovely photos.

I thought I was the only one to stop at frozen puddles and take pictures!! Maybe I am normal after all! :0) Lovely frosty photos. Just browsing, so nice to have met you. Seasons Greetings. Ash
ReplyDeleteGreat frosty photos, love the detail. Frost is beautiful, cold, but beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteI like your photos. Frost makes everything look really pretty, but I have to say I prefer to be on the inside looking out!!
ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to frozen puddles, me too!!!
ReplyDeleteLoving these icy shots. Wouldn't it be great if the cold came back for Christmas instead of all this wind and rain.
Have a fantastic Christmas Georgia, and a wonderful New Year!
ReplyDeleteHope Santa brings you just what you want! :)
Take care,
Love Donna x

Beautiful pictures. You got the haw frost too. I hoped we'd have it for Christmas but we got rain instead. I wrote about the frosty world too after I'd been on a walk, the countryside looked like Narnia! Magical x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Those frost photos are SO pretty.
