I didn't realise it's been so long since my last post.
One week passed by when I had a cold and didn't feel like doing anything, but I don't know what happened to the rest of the time!
Winter seems to be dragging on forever with snow forecast again for tomorrow, although today we've actually had the sun shining!
There are a few hints of Spring about.
This pussy willow is so bright and shines like silver
The willow is grown as a crop in some fields round here
A few violets are coming into flower in our little woodland
This green hellebore has petals edged in red
Remember the blouse I altered and used the belt from another blouse to embellish it? Well, from the leftover sleeve, I made another 'belt' and used it to decorate the back as well.
I was also thinking of changing the buttons over with the other blouse. This is what it would look like - only smoother, because for the photo I've just buttoned the other blouse to it and the buttons aren't spaced the same.
What do you think, should I change them or leave the blue buttons on?
Hopefully there won't be such a long gap to my next post.
I hope your Spring comes soon. It must be so tiring not to have some lovely warm sunny days after a long winter.

I wish Spring would arrive, the weather forecast for the weekend is dreadful, sub-zero temperatures and piles of snow! That blouse looks fab, let's see it on. x
ReplyDeleteI'm just beginning to think Spring may be just round the corner but as you say there's still some snow about. I think I prefer the blue buttons seen on your other post.

Can't believe the time is rushing by so quickly - 3 months of the year almost gone already. I do actually quite like the white buttons. They seem to go with the trim.
ReplyDeleteThose those violets are delightful
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI say keep the blue ones. Your pictures are lovely.

Oh i LOVE pussywillows!
ReplyDeleteThe blouse looks great.
Flowers are sensibly keeping underground for the moment! I think you should keep the blue buttons.
ReplyDeleteWe have had gray, rainy and/or snowy weather. I will welcome Spring with open arms this year!
