Applique
My daughter decided to make a heat pad thingy and asked me to put something on the front to decorate it. I appliqued a family of owls sat on a branch.
I said she'd need a separate bag inside for the rice but she didn't want to do it so I made one out of an old duvet cover and then she had the cheek to ask me to sew the cover up as well!
So much for her making it.
