I bought a great dress from a charity shop the other week which was perfect in colour and style but the neck stuck out a bit at the front.
I easily remedied it by putting a couple of simple tucks in the front
I had another dress that I wanted to wear for Modern Jive but when I lifted my arms, the short sleeves lifted the whole dress up making it very short. I just cut each sleeve up the middle and hemmed round so now my arms go up but not the dress.
I got some bargain plants on the market last week. Cyclamen were £1 each or 6 for £5, and the bare rooted wallflowers were 12 for £1. I bought 12 cyclamen and 12 wallflowers and the stall holder only charged me £10. It had been raining all day and there weren't many people about so he was glad to get rid of them.
The wallflowers are not worth photographing because they're only slips of things at the moment.

Here's my selection for this month's scavenger hunt hosted by Greenthumb at Made with love
this is our little woodland which my son and his friends have made into a bike track/paintballing area. The 'one' is from a large advertising board for Vodaphone which one of his friends acquired
I thought these leaf skeletons looked like lace. Now that I've photographed them, they look like they're made from gold!
(or is was at one time!)
I haven't been near a beach this month, so this is one from the archives
on a building in Manchester
I really struggled with this, and yesterday as a last ditch attempt, I thought I would just photograph the front of a tattoo shop while I was in town. I found a couple but they were really boring, and I was giving up hope of getting this one when I met a friend on the street. Even though it was raining, he gallantly stripped off to expose his tattoos!
Unfortunately when I looked at them later they were blurred, so I have resorted to taking a photo of this interesting tattoo I found on the internet
