Orange and lemons

When I showed the circular tablecloth in my last post, a few of you suggested making a skirt out of it.
It's not the style of skirt I would wear myself, so I pondered making one to sell.  The trouble with that is I would be limiting the potential purchaser by the size, so instead I've made  a pinny, well two in fact.  As you can see in this photo, on me it goes well round to the back so would also fit larger sizes.

I made this one first and thought it was a bit long, so the second one I made an inch or two shorter.  I'm going to put them in my Folksy shop tomorrow when I get better photos in the daylight.

  6. That is beautiful. It reminds me of Dottie Angel. It looks cute with jeans. It ought to fly off the Folksy shelves.
I liked your comment on my blog. I hope people carry on calling people, 'love¨' and the like. I remember when there was a big fuss and people said it was sexist. Some people are being patronising when the say it, bu most people are just being nice! Old the old dears in the pub i used to work in would say it. xxx

  7. I think this fabric was destined to be an apron rather than a tablecloth. It just looks like it belongs around the waist of someone whipping up a meal in a 70s kitchen. The colours are perfect for that. Fondue, anyone?
